Growing up multicultural shaped Thiago's critical thinking and values

Thiago grew up in a multicultural environment: born in Valencia with an Argentine father who had a high-level sports career and a Swedish mother who works as a mental coach. He describes absorbing as much as possible from this background and forging a critical spirit as a result. Rugby in particular was central to his development as a person, and he believes the values the sport embodies represent a large part of his personality. This blend of cultures, athletics, and mental coaching in the home gave him an unusually rich foundation from which to face adversity.
